Mali

There are not enough words to describe the gratitude I have for Andrew.

Mali was my soul dog and in her old age, proved to be quite high maintenance. After moving from Sunny QLD to cold Melbourne, Mali was struggling with the cold in her age. My first interaction with Andrew was him providing me with physio exercises that other vets just hadn’t thought to show me.

This kind of care and guidance carried on throughout my last years with Mali. Andrew understood that I not only wanted Mali to be okay, but I wanted her to live the best life she possibly could. He went above and beyond to help recognise areas that could help her to be happier in her day to day. He was also completely non-judgemental, and provided a safe space for me to ask any and all questions I had.


In her final year, I was having a very tough time myself and wanted to keep giving the best care I could to Mali. Through her dementia and incontinence, Andrew met me and encouraged me believing that she could still live a happy life a little while longer. I was able to put a positive spin on these things (I even found her nappies to wear with frilly skirts on them!) and Andrew was judgement-free, caring, and helped me with whatever I needed.


On her final day, I was devastated taking her in to the emergency vet after a stroke. I didn’t want her final moments to be in an unfamiliar, cold, grey room. I have never been so grateful as to call Andrew and find out I could bring my girl home and have her laid to rest in a space she was comfortable in. Andrew went out of his way on a busy Sunday to organise everything I needed to give both me and Mali support. Mali’s final moments were in her backyard surrounded by a group of people that love her, with peanut butter on her nose and a calm, caring voice to guide us through the unthinkable. I cannot think about this day without tearing up with gratitude. What would have been a nightmare is now a beautiful memory in my mind that I will cherish forever.

Elwood

“We’ve never had such care for our fur baby as by Dr. Dallimore has, when Elwood started wincing and sneezing we took him to a vet but were dismissed as just a flare up. Dr. Dallimore took our concerns to heart and made time to visit our home that same night, carefully checking over our fur baby.

He confirmed that Elwood was having eye trouble, evening figuring out that he was more susceptible from his time as a foster kitten. Not only did he put our worries to ease with an action plan, but gave us confidence and advice on how to check Elwood’s eye health. Elwood has quickly bounced back with his expert care.

My partner, myself, and even Elwood were quickly comfortable around Dr. Dallimore and we are now proud to call him our regular vet!
In short, we cannot express how thankful we are to have found Dr. Dallimore, he is such a comfort when your fur baby is unwell, especially when making evening trips where we couldn’t contain our worry. We are proud to have him as our regular vet and have never looked back!” - Amy and Fletcher

Molly

Dr Andrew has looked after our girl Molly, she has numerous medical problems such as epilepsy, allergies, anxiety etc. He also worked that she was medication sensitive. Dr Andrew couldn’t done more for our girl, I can honestly say that Dr Andrew was the only vet that Molly adored, he has cared for her many many years. We trusted him and Molly did too. Couldn’t ask for a kinder, understanding, smarter vet. Definately recommend him - Wendy.

Mocha

“A debt of gratitude is owed to Dr Andrew Dallimore for tending to our eldest fur baby, Moka. At the tender age of nine, Moka developed a habit of urinating in key locations around the house. My wife, Maria, and I spent a lot of time, and invested considerable effort, into figuring out and treating the source of the anxious, and incessant, weeing.

After multiple Vet recommendations, home remedies, gizmos, gadgets, and seemingly every other intervention you can name, Maria and I met with Dr Dallimore and discussed possible treatments for Moka. 

Now, this was not your usual consultation. 

Dr Dallimore from the outset was genuinely warm and approachable. He spent a lot of time listening to us, even when we would droll on and on about our baby Moka. He asked such considerate questions about what we wanted for Moka. What was so nice about the experience was that Dr Dallimore showed real attention and affection. Our Moka was in good hands.

Dr Dallimore carefully developed and prescribed a holistic approach to treating Moka. We adjusted Moka’s physical environment to provide space from our second fur baby, Millie. We made some dietary changes based on Dr Dallimore’s recommendations, and we started Moka on a low daily dose of Zylkene (a natural calming supplement for cats).

When you read the solution out loud, it just seems so simple. But it takes a keen eye and genuine love for animals to find the right treatment for the right patient. And that’s what our Moka was whilst in the care of Dr Dallimore. A much-loved patient. 


I wouldn’t take our Moka, and now our Millie, anywhere else. And it’s a comfort to know that their Vet, Dr Dallimore, has made it a point to get to know Moka and Millie so very well. That’s how we know they’re in great hands.” – Andy & Maria

Tisha

“Dr Andrew Dallimore has been Tisha’s veterinarian for over three years, and I cannot speak highly enough of the care and compassion he consistently provides.


Tisha has always had a very strong aversion to visiting the vet—so much so that she would refuse to get out of the car and instead hide in the footwell between the seats. It’s been incredibly challenging as a pet parent to manage her anxiety in these situations. However, Dr Andrew has been the only vet who has truly understood this and worked with Tisha rather than against her fears.


He has gone above and beyond to ensure Tisha is properly examined, even if that means assessing her in the car to keep her calm. His patience, kindness, and flexibility have made an enormous difference—not just for Tisha, but for us as her fur parents.


We are also incredibly grateful for Dr Andrew’s mobile services, which allow Tisha’s general care to be looked after in the comfort of her own home—where she feels safest and most at ease. This has made a world of difference in managing her stress and ensuring she still receives the care she needs.
What stands out most is that Dr Andrew always approaches care with thoughtful consideration for both Tisha’s wellbeing and our concerns. He consistently prioritises what is in her best interest while making every effort to keep her comfortable and her anxiety at bay.

Matsu

“Dr Andrew really helped me with a difficult diagnosis of my baby Matsu, offering suggestions for alternative diagnostic tests I could seek through a specialist cat vet, which ultimately led to discovering the cause of his unexplained vomiting (a rare liver tumor). Without his advice I wouldn’t have known what to do next, so he saved me a lot of stress and anxiety! Matsu got the lifesaving care he needed and is now coming up to 3 years cancer free! – Chloe

Pixie and harpo

“My furbabies, Pixie and Harpo, are family, so I don’t trust just anyone with their care.

After years of visiting different vet clinics and rarely seeing the same vet twice, we were so grateful to find Andrew. From our very first appointment, it was clear he was different.

Instead of jumping straight into the consultation, Andrew took the time to get to know us. He asked thoughtful questions, listened carefully, and, most importantly, connected with Harpo and Pixie. Before long, my 30+ kg boy trusted him enough to be lifted into his arms for cuddles and kisses!
